Founded by community advocate and entrepreneur Upendra Mishra, our mission is to empower Hispanic, African American, Asian, women, and immigrant populations through education, entrepreneurship, and wellness.

We are dedicated to closing opportunity gaps in Boston by supporting historically marginalized groups with culturally responsive, community-based programs.
The Need is Urgent
Why We Exist
- Black entrepreneurs receive less than 1.2% of U.S. venture capital funding.
- Latino entrepreneurs receive just 2% of small business loans.
- Women—especially women of color—continue to face wage gaps and underrepresentation in leadership.
DEI Boston Charities Fund addresses these disparities with a holistic model of empowerment grounded in real community needs.
